Thank you so much for all who make possible this festival: specially To my co-workers and friends Nelly Cristina Villamil and Cristina Valencia without them it hadn't been great.
Also I want to congratulate all the 65 students who were on the platform , performing with quality and dedication their songs. I'm sure they are going to have their recognition.
This year we organize the event in two days, first category A ( 6°, 7° and 8° grade)
Category B (9°,10° and 11° grade)

There was a group out of sight because their performance: they were THE NOTE DARK GROUP!

It was the last thursday (October 4th), students from hight school had the opportunity to show their skills to performance an english song. There were 2 categories: A for 6°,7° and 8° grade and B for 9°, 10° and 11° grade ; also we had 2 special guest: "Parroquial Santiago Apostol" School and "El Bicentenario" school, they have a show with quality Elegance and a lot of talent. Thanks who made possible this activity , thanks for the behavior of the students in the auditorium, thanks to all you who participated but no were picked up to sing.
El pasado jueves (octubre 4) los estudiantes de Bachillerato tuvieron la oportunidad de mostrar sus habilidades para interpretar una canción en inglés. Hubo 2 categorias: A para 6°, 7° y 8° y B para 9° 10° y 11°; También tuvimos 2 invitados especiales: colegios "Parroquial Santiago Apostol" y "El Bicentenario" quienes tienen un show con calidad, elegancia y mucho talento. Gracias a todos quienes hicieron posible ésta actividad, gracias al comportamiento de los estudiantes en el auditorio, gracias a todos los que participaron pero no cantaron en el festival.
El próximo miércoles es el día de los idiomas y vamos a decir quien es el ganador de las dos categorías, vamos a dar los premios y galardones por el esfuerzo de los participantes! Esperen Noticias!

Video del festival 2011 El próximo 24 de octubre en el dia del Idioma extranjero se estará dando la premiación del cuarto festival de la canción Miguel Antonio Caro 2011 (M.A.C English Music Festival 2011) que se realizó con gran exito el pasado 6 de octubre en el auditorio de la Unidad Educativa. Las profesoras Cristina Valencia, Nelly Cristina Villamil y Claudia Quintero, agradecemos muy especialmente a todos los colaboradores: Directivas, docentes de las diferentes áreas quienes acompañaron con gusto a sus grupos y estudiantes de 8° que posibilitaron el exito del mismo.
A los concursantes Felicitaciones, TODOS SON YA GANADORES; Es un gran merito haber presentado su talento ante sus compañeros con Elegancia y compromiso ,lo más importante es que participaron de esta fiesta y eso no lo olvidarán.

ASPECTOS A TENER EN CUENTA PARA EL 4 FESTIVAL DE LA CANCIÓN EN INGLÉS MIGUEL ANTONIO CARO (M.A.C)
- El festival se tiene previsto para el próximo 6 de octubre (jueves) a partir de las 7:00 am. ( Por confirmar)
- Los participantes este año serán estudiantes de 7°,8°,9° 10° Y 11° (por confirmar).
- las canciones a interpretar deben ser en inglés
- Los participantes deberán adjuntar para la final , una carpeta en donde tenga la letra de la canción, autor, traducción al español , nombre y grado del o de los cantantes .
- Se premiarán 2 categorias: A (7° y 8°) y B (9° y 10°)
- Pueden utilizar instrumentos musicales para acompañar sus presentaciones
- La ganadora del año anterior defenderá su titulo.
- Se hará un ensayo anterior al festival para ensayar el tiempo de cada intervención y los breaks entre una y otra en la semana anterior a éste ( septiembre 26 al 30 )
De la buena disposición que tengamos todos depende que esta actividad tenga exito como los años anteriores, Jóvenes es un espacio para ustedes y por ustedes ; aprovechenlo y compartan su talento. Un abrazo.

Hi everybody, this year (2010) we had a nice activity, the participants were amazing! thanks for all of them and also everybody who made this show possible: Our Principal: Luis Eduardo Echeverry, Cordinator Luis Enrique Arevalo ,English Teachers specially : Nelly Cristina Villamil, Cristina Valencia and Leopoldo Chaparro and the rest of coworkers from morning section.
